Hole 1
When Mike Husby designs a golf course he always insures the first hole does not require a long accurate tee shot to begin the round. So is the case with the dogleg to the right par 4. To have a shot at the green with your second shot you need to hit your tee ball 175 yards to 260 to a plateau fairway. The fairway is extremely wide but does allow an easier second shot if you favor the right side. The green sites on a hill and is protected by bunkers right and left. The danger on this hole is going over the green on your approach shot where trouble is certain to occur. "This starting hole allows you to get your round started."
