Hole 12
This is what we call the Rolaids hole at The Loon. Finally some "Relief" has arrived. When you reach number 12 you just completed a tough test of holes going all the way back to number 6 on the front nine. Number 12 is a short downhill par 3 that looks so innocent. Because of the elevation change most players think the hole is going to play shorter then it does and they come up short. Club selection is the only issue on number 12. The tee shot usually travels about the tree line so the cross winds that are always present here is a factor. The back of the green is framed with large White Pine Trees that make this simple hole very pretty to look at. Many of our bad shots in golf are caused by indecision in club selection. "Pick you club and go with it."
